The research
In the spring of 2025, GetYourGuide commissioned formules with the scientific curation of the research “Driving Sustainable Tourism: GetYourGuide’s Impact in Italy”. The study provides a unique insight into the economic impact of experiential tourism in Italy, combining the analysis of big data from GetYourGuide’s dataset (over 20.7 million customers in 30 months) with the results of a survey with 500 respondents representing 1,447 international travelers, as well as in-depth analysis of several relevant case studies.
