The project
formules is conducting an economic, tourism, employment and social impact analysis for the 2024–2025 winter season of the ski resorts of Limone Piemonte, Pian Muné and Prato Nevoso, commissioned by VisitPiemonte and the Cuneo Local Tourism Board (ATL del Cuneese).
Research objective
The study aims to analyse tourist flows in the ski resorts of the Cuneo area, focusing on Prato Nevoso and Limone Piemonte—two of the main resorts in Piedmont—and on Pian Muné, which represents smaller-scale resorts. The research evaluates how the presence of ski facilities affects the attractiveness of each destination, generating economic and employment impacts, as well as influencing local property values. Referring to the 2024/2025 winter season, the analysis is intended to serve as a useful tool for assessing the sustainable development of the area in the context of climate change.
