The institution

formules drew up the strategic development plan for the Savona Ceramic Museum, managed by the Fondazione Museo della Ceramica di Savona Onlus, an instrumental body of the Fondazione A. De Mari, as part of a project supported by the Compagnia di San Paolo. The museum is one of the most important and prestigious cultural institutions dedicated to the ceramic arts in Italy and it has undertaken an ambitious project to innovate its management, displays, technological equipment and cultural activities.

The strategic plan

The plan rethought the institution's strategy and cultural offering, increasing the interactivity of the visitor experience, enhancing the level of digital technologies and increasing the museum's attractiveness.

Areas of action

One focus of the strategic plan was on digital architecture and infrastructure, aimed at improving the visitor experience and the management efficiency of internal processes, identifying five macro lines of action relating to as many areas of museum activity (collections and displays, visitor support, public programmes and partnerships, services and commercial activities, marketing and communication).
