Venice Virtual Carnival

As part of Virtual Carnival 2023, formules collaborated with PwC and the City of Venice to design and market two limited-edition digital wearable collections on Roblox, inspired by some of the most popular characters of the Venetian tradition.

The Project

During Carnival 2023, the City of Venice decided to carry the festivity into the Metaverse, releasing a series of exclusive wearables on Ready Player Me and Roblox with the aim of generating awareness and approaching a different audience than the one that is usually targeted on this occasion. formules was responsible for designing, developing and publishing 2 collections of UGC Items on the Roblox marketplace, one dedicated to Colombina (a typical mask with a lively and mischievous character) and the other, called Original Sign, inspired by the theme of this year's event.

A one-of-a-kind project

formules was able to support a traditional brand entering the metaverse space providing its own solid know-how on the Roblox's platform as strategy and content developers, by launching a one-of-a-kind campaign for product placement on Roblox's marketplace without creating a related experience. Thanks also to the beloging to the Roblox's UGC creator program, formules was able to overcome the entry-barrier usually subjected to content developers willing to enter the space.
